"AI talking to AI" that's how someone described what's going on on LinkedIn these days. You see a post and it's obvious to anyone who knows the writer that he has ChatGPTed it. It's also pretty obvious that people are commenting using their fave AI helper.
Here's what people can think when they sense AI speak :
Those are not his thoughts.
He never expresses himself that way.
Neither of those thoughts builds trust which is the name of the game in every communication.
So how do you do it right while still making use of AI for ideas, research and speed?
Funnily enough it is the E-E-A-T model that is a good guide here. It was developed by Google to check how trustworthy a writer and his content is. E-E-A-T is:
Experience
Expertise
Authoritativeness
which is how Google measures .........
TRUSTWORTHINESS
Semrush's diagram sums it up nicely.
Something I know from all my experience with companies, leaders or anyone else for that matter? Talking or writing about what only you can know from your experience has been important forever.
That's even truer now that with AI all knowledge has become common knowledge.
People want to hear something only you could know - your unique perspective, adventures, lessons learned, mistakes made which is your experience of life and work.
That's the thing that sets you apart in messaging, content or speaking to groups.
And now that you have to make it your own to make it real, it is even more important for us to trust you.
